The first representations are planned in January 2011. The preparations are taking place between Paris/CND in Pantin and the dance studio of the ADC in Geneva. A first step in the process of creation concerning the composition of the music will take place in New York with Sir Richard Bishop in the month of August. AUDITION Laurence and Nicolas are still searching one male dancer for the up-coming creation in 2011. Profile and requested qualities: To detain a technical training and at least two years of professional experience. Please note that only approved applications will receive an answer and an invitation for a private audition. Conditions: Full time position in Geneva from October 18th, 2010 to January 23rd, 2011, plus a tour. TOUR 2010 A new piece entitled Figure 5 is on the program of La Fête de la Musique - dance stage of the ADC on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 at 9pm : Place des Casemates, 11 boulevard Emile Jacques-Dalcroze, 1205 Geneva. The duo Romance-s will be performed on July 8th, 9th and 10th with ADN's festival "Scène-ouverte 2010" in Neuchâtel. During the months of September and October, the Compagnie 7273 will present Romance-s in Mannheim and Heidelberg in Germany, in Lausanne in Switzerland, in Vila do Conde in Portugal and in Paris. DAILY TRAINING OFFERED TO PROFESSIONAL DANCERS The daily training for the professional dancer, offered free of charge and directed by Nicolas Cantillon, continues, unless the company is on tour. Nicolas Cantillon proposes technical patterns composed by different influences. Based on continous and isolated movements, this technique is a mix between various oriental schemes and the fundaments of occidental classical and contemporary dance. It allows to focus on technical challenges and to organise the body with regards to everyone's personal physiognomie. PEDAGOGICAL PROJECT The Compagnie 7273 also prepares the pedagogical project Family Dance which proposes encounters linked to dance for children in the age from 4 to 12 years and their parents. The pilot project of this educational program will be on the agenda of the next Festival de la Bâtie on September 4th and 5th, 2010 in Geneva.
